I got AABC =D =D =D A's in English Literature and Biology, B in General Studies and C in German

Well done! you're following in your family's footsteps going off to Lancaster aren't you? I know someone off HTV ages ago did her degree there and had a great time too.

And languages are considered amongst the hardest A-levels there are. Lots of marks are lost by not jumping through the correct hoops not by not being able to speak it. Uni German isn't like that, it's about actually being able to communicate in it.

I'm half excited about going to German at uni, because I love languages, and I've always wanted to be sort of fluent in a second language. But on the other hand, I know I'll be one of the worst at German in my group, and that scares me!

I spent a lot of this year stressed about German, and not being able to do it, and I need it all to suddenly click. I need to re-learn German now, I've forgotten it all over the summer!
