Well, the last panel is sorta Fahrenheit 451, except that they have bookstores here, and they would never have bookstores in Fahrenheit, except to kill everyone who went into one as being traitorous.

It's really just taking shoplifting detection to the brain, which is a scary thought. How much do I have to pay for the 5 pages of that book I read? Crap, I didn't bring any money in with me.
