8D I found out that Edinburgh Classics separates their school-leaver & mature students applications. Then it has to give those MS's on its access course a place; then those within a certain geographical area. So though I'm qualified, statistically Admissions (very kindly, I have to add) suggested that unless I really loved Edinburgh, I probably shouldn't waste my time. Or my UCAS slot. :D
... sounds like quite a pain in the ass Friday. Fridays are supposed to be relieving, but they don't seem to be much relieving anymore. At least you have two days off now, I hope!
I wish. I have classes all day Saturday, and Sunday is my day to do stuff around the house + prepare my homework for Monday. I'm jealous of people who actually have weekends...
I hear you! I am (yes, finally) Back in school with four classes now and I work all during the week too... Sunday is my day off for homework as well, and I really have very little time to do much of anything at all. I also know a little how you feel about bitchy patients... most of our patients are pet owners since I work at a Vet hospital -- but they can still be a big pain, and they also think its perfectly fine to show up an hour + late and then expect to get in to see a Vet... then when I tell them all our appointments for the day are booked with both doctors, they go off on me. At least the animals don't complain! They just leave lots of messes. (Suburban pet owners are rather frightening creatures.)
