Hiy'all!

Life has been go-go-go for me lately. I’m having to work 50 hours a week or more to keep up with my billable time, and the long commute doesn’t help me out any. I’m not complaining-well… yeah I am. I truly love what I’m doing though, and the learning curve seems to be getting flatter and flatter. Hopefully, within a few months I’ll be back to ( Read more... )

I was just thinking about how I hadn't read an entry from you for a while! Isn't it fabulous being so busy? Haha, I definitely know how you are feeling.

Billable time is such a pain sometimes. I know some days I'm really productive and earn my pay with billables and then some days I'm really productive but nothing is billable.

Sounds great about the workout. I hope things keep positively progressing.

How is your season going? I know you said you were in charge of certain tax returns (trust/estates maybe?)

706s and 709s mostly. Nothing like what y'all are facing. The estate I'm working on just happens to be due at the end of April--the guy just picked a bad time to die. The Executor is actually a CPA, so I feel really guilty when I have to bother him with questions.

I hope your staying sain. Hang in there.

Congratulations on kicking ass at the gym. Are you still considering law school?

Thank you!

Nah... I would have to finish a Bachelor program first, and that would mean another three semesters of school before I even started law school. Besides, I'm not really that ambitious. I like having someone above me who ultimately has to take responsibility. I am considering finishing my Bachelor's degree at some point though.

I'm sure you posted about it and I just missed it, but how did the Bar go?

You didn't miss anything. I decided not to post about it, mostly because I didn't want to relive the experience. It sucked really bad. I get my results in mid-April.

I'm sorry that you don't think that it went well, but maybe you'll suprise yourself.
