A Reflection...

As the year comes to a close, its culmination brings upon a sense of reflection. Oh, how so much has happened in the year of 2006. shayla, a friend of mine, introduced me to the phrase "I am a human becoming." this phrase is what she is continuously using to describe herself. Shayla, I now understand. It now makes sense.

Aww, I missed you. "...I am a human becoming for where i am now is not where i am supposed to be it is where i am headed that will define me..." I found that quote randomly one day -- actually way back in the day -- anyhoo, I learned to love it ever since. A lot of times I would beat on myself, criticize where I was at even though I accomplished so much. I know my God is an on time God -- yup hasn't failed me yet but i was really angry with.... well you know we all have our own personal battles... Despite all of that, I know everyday I'm becoming more.. I have a lot more growing up to do and a lot more to learn about myself. But I think your post has brought another level of understanding to that quote. And I appreciate and love ya for posting so openly and candidly...

Don't I deserve it? Does one not deserve to be happy? Does one not deserve that one chance to do things that he or she may not have ever once considered? I do. Everyone does you see your message is "right on time". And I can't praise God enough for that... thanks
