Santa Ana winds blowing....the weekend in the 80's...no significant rain yet....feels more like May than October. Trees for the most part cooperating with strange weather. Grass green, skies blue...All Cali all the way!
It is lovely down here. The air is clear and fresh, with just enough breeze to really open your eyes to the bright sunshine. There are many trees that are yellow on one side, and then blending into orange on the other. Bushes and bursting with lusicous crimson, and the rare japanese maple is in its burgundy glory. The best part, is that the leaves are mostly still on the trees. The grass is lightly dappled with the rare fallen leaf; so sporadic, in fact, that they appear to be laid out by hand for full effect.
Sometimes nature really does want to "set the scene".
