me being me ...

I was asked today if I was feeling burned out because i haven't been myself lately. I haven't felt like myself lately. I keep looking around my life and seeing a butt ton of stuff that's just not finished. And i've even gone as far as to start getting rid of the unfinished projects, and i still see things that I haven't gotten done ( Read more... )

"I guess its a time in my life to grow up. there comes a time in everyone's life when they have to, maybe this is my time."

I again cry SHENANIGANS!!! I refuse to ever grow up, no matter how old I get.

We all get that feeling sometimes. You either have to get off your butt and do the things you want to get done, or just stop worrying about it and continue on. It is a part of getting older and you will have the same thoughts from time to time. I also know that if you go the route and get off your butt and get things done, you will look back and see other things that you didn't do. It's one of those vicious cycles of life.

I don't know why you keep beating your head in over this whole "growing up" thing. My parents are 79 and 77. They have never had much money, they have always had bills and they have always managed to get them paid. HOWEVER, they also managed to have fun and blow off some steam once in a while. They had friends, they socialized, they did some things they wanted, like hunting and going to Colorado camping every year ( ... )

why not try taking up something that you can do with your hands. You always did like working on things...

Just be yourself. Money is money and as long as you can pay the bills and put food on the table then your good. If you have something you really want to do or think you do but can't make ends meet all the way then put a little back each paycheck to go towards it and when you got enough go and do it. Paying off the bills is great but really it doesn't make life that much better its just one thing less to think about. Got to still have the something you like to do or want to do to make it worth while. You've got to have the random times you do stupid stuff for no reason at all. Such as putting the top down when its cold outside and driving through Wendy's drive thru and around town.
