It was a mark of how long she'd been here, probably, that when nobody challenged her at the drinks table. She was almost a little disappointed; she'd wanted to point out that there weren't any rules about these things, and that by her world's standards it was fine

"Is it?" The question wasn't at all bewildered. Rather, it was accompanied by a quirk of her brow, vaguely suspicious while Pan settled on her shoulder. "Why's that? I'm fairly certain it hasn't got my name on it," said as she ducked her head to get a closer look at said shot glass.

"No, but it's for you," Arya said, waggling the glass as an enticement. "We're going to do shots, and this is a shot glass."

Now, that was much better, the use of "for"; Lyra liked a gift as much as the next girl. "Well, of course it's a shot glass. What are you going to do shots out of? A non-shot glass?" loftily replied as she snatched the glass rather greedily. "... what sort of shots are we doing?"

Pan despaired.

"Tequila," Arya said, bringing up the bottle now that she had something to poor it into. "I think we're meant to have salt as well, or something, but I'm not putting salt into perfectly good liquor."
