Short delay again

Sorry, guys, but I didn't plan on this delay again. I forgot that after we got back on Sunday and Monday, we would be busy cleaning and packing for our week-long family vacation. Then after the six hour drive, there wasn't much time to do anything else other than unpack, eat dinner, and go to sleep

I can understand what you mean about not wanting to go through your grandpa's things yet. I think it took me about a year to be able to go through our grandmother's things when she passed away. *hugs* Things like that are necessary, but extremely tough.

Yeah, it's just been really weird. This whole Easter holiday has been weird, really, without my grandpa around. And I don't know, I just feel like it's a little too soon maybe. Not that my grandma has to live with his stuff all around the house if she doesn't want to. But we are trying to convince her to move closer to family now that she's alone, so she would have to go through his belongings eventually.

The saddest part was finding my old baby onesie and a bunch of pictures of me in his dresser drawer, as if I didn't live with them nearly my entire life. They only moves away a few years ago, but that kind of stuff just made me really sad to find out. It has been tough, but I know we'll all get through it, as usual.

My vacation has been pretty good so far. Although now I've come down with a sinus infection, so I feel like crap. I just don't even know what's happening anymore, lol. I swear, life doesn't want me to write anything. orz
