we have these trash cans around san francisco. big green trash cans with metal lids attached that have spaces on all four sides to put the trash in. these trash cans are cemented to the sidewalks and the lids are welded to the can so that bums can't get into them very well ( Read more... )

my ass got shaken around tonight. i experienced my first real earthquake since i've been in california. jimmy and i felt one 3 weeks ago when we were downtown, but it was really small and only one or two shakes. tonight was different. it was a 4.4 about 64 miles outside of san fran. it shook my whole bedroom and i thought i might fall through ( Read more... )
