what a waste of time, the thought crossed my mind;

JUST OUT OF CURIOSITY, do you guys have, like, working songs? I MEAN it's kinda dorky, but I always try to have a theme song whenever I do finals. For APs, it was Hercule's Go the Distance ;u; Is... Is there, like, a dominant genre of song that you use to do homework/work/thinking? Classical? I... I go with hard rock.In unrelated news, I think I ( Read more... )

ahhhh I used Go The Distance last semester for one longass test I took, I forgot which. I just remember browsing through youtube and deciding I liked the song so much I had to BUY it.

I usually associate the Hunchback of Notre Dame with finals week, but that's mainly because the songs became embedded in my brain after watching the movie 30x with friends in dead week.

...make a man out of you that's uh. yeah. it. But as far as genres go, nothing really...

I share the same pet peeve, actually. I'm not as stupid as some people tend to make me out as, and it irritates me when they try to make me feel and look that way. ;;

It is an inspirational song that makes me wish I could be as mysterious as the dark side of the moon!!

Yeah, I know what you mean ;u; It's just so stupid don't judge me brooooo

I tend to listen to quieter stuff when I'm studying like book stuff, or else I get kinda distracted. I'll play whatever when I'm working on projects and stuff, though again nothing really dramatic. If you haven't noticed have kind of an obsessive playlist making habit so I'll just throw one of those up and let it play through. So I guess basically all that wacky indie-stuff I listen to anyway is my genre.

orz I usually want to punch people who try and make me feel stupid. Can I come punch some people for you ;3; I SWEAR I ONLY ACT STUPID

Ahhh yeah, if I'm reading, I need absolute silence or, you know, relative silence. LIKE the background noise of the cafeteria is cooler than my roommates talking outside the door. Your wacky indie is awesome though ;u; DO YOU KNOW Carolina Liar, I have a feeling someone told me about them once, and now I like them.

JUST PUNCH THEM IN THE GUT oh gosh I don't even know why I've gotten so irritated. Before it was like "eh......" and now I can't even try to be understanding, I just leave ;u;

I've heard him, they play that "Show Me What You're Looking For" song like every five minutes on the radio haha. I like some of their other stuff though!

Honestly we should just stuff my roommate in a box and she can replace you and you can come live in my closet and I can feed you treats.

OH I looked that up and that did sound familiar. I guess that never caught my attention orz but I super like I'm Not Over. LISTENED TO THAT FOR my part all-nighter and... I guess nineteen pages of essay...... my roommate was like "have you seriously been playing that over and over again" and i was like i did not know my earphones let loose the torrents of music.

I WOULD TOTALLY be down for that since I haven't eaten in like twelve hours ajdflkajdfkld but you have to make sure you don't forget okay 8(

Faith No More is a big part of my work music--especially The Gentle Art of Making Enemies and As The Worm Turns (Patton version). Metallica's Fuel (from the S&M album) is also really big. Orgy works really well too...

...hmm. It seems that rock/metal is what really helps me out. OH WAIT!

Libera Me was the song I listened to on repeat for 4 hours nonstop before I went and got the best swimming time I have achieved in my entire life. *dork*

Also yeah, passive aggressive people drive me up a wall. They make me want to break spines.

ROCK/METAL is awesome and so is Libera Me there is no shame. I tried TTGL music sometime, but then I just got distracted thinking about TTGL so that was very successful........

I especially don't like them because I always feel like a jerk if I call them out but seriously, we can just talk it out.

Depends on the breed of thinkin'. Back during my studying days, I needed silence in order to concentrate - and, even when I was usin' my algebra tutoring program last year to get some of my prowess back, I would only use it when nobody else was awake. Creative stuff's just the opposite; I generally can't write without music or with distractions now, although there was a time when neither was true.

See, when I respond to things while half-awake, I misread things. I thought your last sentence was sayin' that we are so sweet and... full of Orange Fluff. ;u;

That's so true. Silence is great for incorporating stuff and music great to get creative juices flowing hurrhurrhurr. I FIND it difficult to write essays without some loud music playing in the background now so addicting orz

o-orange fluff
