Yesterday I started volunteering at North Shore Animal League (Friday 5pm - 9pm).

So basically, the kittens are in fact not kittens at all.

They're Velociraptors disguised as kittens.

It's the only explanation.

Summer is half over.

I feel like a selfish human being.

This journals inactivity has shown me just how little happens in my day to day life. It is more than embarrassing.

What bothers me is the pronunciation of the following word:

"Sherbet" - you know, the ice cream stuff, as in "orange sherbet."

People like to say "sher-BERT" - with emphasis on the "BERT," like the Bert in Bert and Ernie. These people swear that this pronunciation is correct. However, I beg these same people to find me this phantom, invisible "R" ( Read more... )
