So now we have a new Prime Minister...  How strange.. I wanted Greens to win.. not that it can ever happen... Or is there? How is it that we can make the Greens win?

Mm... I don't not like him. I just don't think there's any better.. I preferred him over the other guy, but.. I like bits of both parties and wish they would combine there policies to form something...that really is good for the country and environment.

Well your new PM seems better and more committed to the environment than Howard who our PM in Canada would ally himself with against climate change, so I welcome any change that is positive and makes things more difficult for our PM :P

I'm not too familiar with Australian politics and electoral systems though, are they as one-party majority-dominated as Canadian politics or are there elements of coalition building?
