I'm SOOOO glad Angela is gone. Like, for real. I could not believe she lasted longer than Alison, and I REALLY can't believe that maniac Vincent is still around. Are we for real, people ( Read more... )

I agree on all counts! And, honestly, how is it possible that Alison (one of my favorites on the show, both personality- and design-wise) was eliminated when Vincent's "art piece" wasn't even a functional garment? Apparently someone looking a little fat in an outfit is worse than not being able to walk or sit. Stupid judges.

And isn't that the definition of American couture? One would be mortified to look fat, yet we will clothes that are uncomfortable after 20 minutes of movement of any type.

So pathetic.

I loved Alison. I wanted her, Michael, and Uli to be at the end. Damn judges.

But that does not quelch my love of Nina. Rawrrrr.

there have absolutely been other couture designs by prominent designers that have done for worse for the figure than allison's dress, which, i thought was actually really interesting. i thought the top was pretty excellent.
and i definitely agree on michael and uli, but i can't deal with laura for some reason. i feel too like she only designs for herself (which uli does to an extent too i guess), and that her designs are always way on the safe side, sticking to a few basic, common cuts.
i miss alison! and i have a soft spot for jeffrey. haha.
BUT i do think michael will deservedly win it. :]

I think Laura stays waaaay safe. Every dress is practically the same.

However, Michael Kors LOVES her. And they are beautifully made.
