Liquid Castile Soap Shampoo

I've read this can be a good alternative to baking soda, diluted of course, and then followed by an ACV rinse.

If any of you have tried this method, I'd love to hear what you thought of it :)

Thank you! xx

Yes! I've been using this for some time now -- over two years. My hair does get a bit dry and brittle at the ends, but I don't have the dry/strawlike scalp issues that I had with baking soda :).

Oh wow, so you've used it for quite a while now then :) Do you remember how long it took for your hair to adjust? How long does it last between washes?

Thank you! :)

It's been so long, now, that I don't remember :). I think the biggest learning curve was figuring out a good ratio of water to soap for my hair.

I usually go about a week between washings, but if it weren't for the fact that I have dry skin (which sticks to the oils in my hair after a while), I could probably go longer.

Yes, I reckon that will be a learning curve for me, too! I tested it the other day and it had little or no effect... I actually had to wash it again the following day.

That's amazing! I hope mine will get to that stage eventually...
