Secluded Spot on the Beach [Wednesday Afternoon]

So far, Bobby had made it through the day without bursting in to song. Angelica had broken into an impromptu rendition of the Ohio Player's "Fire" earlier in the day, but fortunately no one had been around to witness that mortifying incident.

She'd also changed into her uniform -- the yellow and red spandex, not the awful pink Hellion uniform -- before wrapping a coat around herself and heading to the beach. She would've just flown there, but she didn't want to attract attention to her destination since she knew Bobby was more secretive about what he could do.

Bobby's own uniform was on underneath his street clothes (the full-body one, not the one that left him showing more skin than Emma Frost when he wasn't iced up). Standing up, he waved back to Angelica.

"I brought snacks," he greeted. "But those are for after. So- first question, your powers are heat-based, right?"

"Okay," he nodded. "So a bit different from how mine work, maybe," he mused. He didn't exactly have a thorough understanding of the science behind his powers, but he knew the basics. "I slow molecules down, basically. Which turns them into ice, if they're moisture."
