Maybe it’s time to post an actual entry instead of these stupid ones I’ve been doing. And by that I mean I seriously don’t know what I’m doing. i don't think it's fucked up to take pride in being a single parent. i mean you're not actually feeling proud that his mom is gone--that's just the circumstance--you're taking pride in the fact that you have the toughest job in the world and you're doing it. and you SHOULD be proud of that.

also, i was raised by a single parent for the second half of my childhood and i'm glad that my dad was out of the picture. unstable adults are usually worse for kids than one missing adult and one committed, caring adult (but i'm not a psychologist, so what do i know except my own experience...)

but yeah, anyway...i say: go you!

Oh, thank you... I think it's hard for me since my folks have been together for a near 30 years to realize the situation I'm in. I guess I have that "white picket fence" mentality. But I got to bite the bullet. I see it from the single parent's eye and you from the child's, which is good. But there's this; he's only 3, his mom and I were never married, so he really has no memory of the two of us together, which is a whole other blog.... hahaha (nervous laughter) Anyway, thanks again. When do you think you'll AIM again, I miss our zaney conversations, as oppose to these serious ones... hahaha (more nervous laughter)

weekends are best for me to be on AIM because i go to bed between 10:30 and 11 on most weeknights, which is like dinner time for you guys. ugh, early classes. anyway, yeah. weekends. i would like to talk soon too! i dunno. if i think i'll be on before then i'll warn ya, so it's more likely we'll catch each other.
