Should have gone to an oral surgeon.... I got lucky in the process, the surgeon took all 5 (yes, that is meant to read 5) of mine out and I didn't have anywhere near the problems you're having.

Just as a side note, are you allowed to do physical activity? I thought I remembered that activity would mess up the socket in some way and thus should be avoided for a while. Eh, whatever...
