J2 AU, both are literature professors, geeking out together. It would be even more awesome if the subject was Arcadia ;)

"Go be nice," says Genevieve firmly.

"I'm always nice," Jensen grumbles. "How am I not being nice right now?"

"Okay, go be friendly," Genevieve corrects, with a roll of her eyes. "He's new, he's going to be teaching some of your old classes, and he could use someone to talk to. I am nominating you." She looks around his empty office. "Oh look, it's unanimous! Go."

"It's not unanimous, I didn't vote," Jensen grumbles.

"You don't get a vote, it directly concerns you. Jensen, go. He's very nice and very cute and has a rainbow pin on, so I am doing you a favor."

"Do you want me to talk to him or hit on him?" asks Jensen warily.

"Why pick?" says Genevieve, grinning. "You can multitask." She gives him a gentle shove. "Go."

Jensen rolls his eyes and heads down the hallway to Jared Padalecki's office, knocking on the door when he arrives.

"It's open!" someone calls from inside.

Jensen pushes the door open and is faced with a very tall guy with a fantastic ass hanging up a framed poster for Arcadia. Which just happens to be Jensen's
