It takes Jensen about a week to notice. In his defense, it's in the morning, and the morning is his worst time of day for awareness.
He notices on a Tuesday, halfway through his second cup of coffee.
"Have you been making my coffee every morning?" he asks Jared.
Jared's still not all the way unpacked--they've been friends for years, but Jared's roommate just kicked him out because his girlfriend was moving in, so Jensen offered his spare room--but he looks up from the box of dishes he's unloading with a slightly guilty expression. "I know you like coffee," he says.
"I wasn't saying it was a bad thing," Jensen says. "It's awesome."
Jared smiles, pleased. "I was thinking I'd just do it every morning," he says, and it should be casual, but somehow, it sounds like this big deal. Jensen can't explain it. "Since I get up first."
Jensen laughs. "You know, I think this living together thing is gonna work out."

Jared's smile widens. "Yeah. Me too."
