"Of course I was a teenager," says Reid, immediately. "Although developmentally speaking, my intellectual adolescence and emotional/physical adolescence didn't really match up to--"
Alex stares at him. "Okay, no one who remembers being a teenager talks like that. And don't tell me you remember everything, I don't want to hear it." She points at the body. "Okay, victimology? Look at her nails. They're so basic! And she's got polish around the bottoms of her nails on her right hand. That happens when you haven't really used it before when you're not using your dominant hand. But look at her face! She's got everything--foundation, blush, lipstick, eye shadow, eyeliner, and it's all flawless! But every girl I ever met who wore makeup started with nail polish way earlier than anything else
