Yep, I had never heard the story of the two people who actually started this ball rolling, and I thought it was incredibly sweet when I found out about it yesterday. =)

On the news today, they also had a gay (male) couple that had been together in a committed relationship for 49 years, who were just getting married today. Also a couple who are tying the knot after 22 years of living together, and quietly going about their lives.

Is this some terrible threat to heterosexual marriage? No way.
