I was woken up at 2am this morning with a horrible toothache. While I was waiting for the ibuprofen to kick in I was looking around on the interwebs for a low income or free dental clinic in my area. Nothing! There's plenty help out there for low income families, but since I'm too old to be called a dependent by my parents and I don't have kids

I'm a bit late, but reading this has just made me so thankful I live in the UK, with the NHS. OK, it's not perfect, and it's not free (contribution comes out of our wage monthly along with tax). I really hope Obama is successful with his healthcare reforms, you guys REALLY need it, it would help you so much!
I can't imagine spending thousands on my teeth... did you get it sorted out in the end (for cheaper?)

Noo not sorted out. The pain went away in the next day or two and that was the end of it. I ended up finding a low cost dental clinic sort of nearby aimed towards migrant farm workers that I can go to. :T
