So I was drying my hair yesterday, and I got to thinking (because what else do you do when you're drying your hair?). If there is a God, then he/she/it is supposedly infinite, right? I was an undergraduate Philosophy major in college, so I've got plenty to say on the subject of God. Like most Philosophy majors (or at least a majority of them) I'm an atheist. I'm not one of those religion hating atheists, though. Here's my argument though ( ... )

oh, see i'm the opposite. i just can't accept the idea that every single thing has a concrete explanation, or that everything is caused by something tangible on earth. while i don't believe in the christian god (or in organized religion at all, really--i'm kind of an agnostic (but like you, i'm not religion hating, i just don't believe in them for myself)), i believe in creationism, and in more of the deist god (clock-maker god, created the universe then sat back and stopped interfering, etc.). i wouldn't say that i feel god's presence in my life, but i would say that the human mind is something i don't think science can fully explain. it just feels to me like something greater has to exist to have developed the complexity of the mind.
