Is it still evil if the wish is never said aloud?

Is the thought still sinful even if the action is never acted?

Is it still poisonous if the sting never stings?

Are the words still hurtful if they are never spoken?

Is the action less egregious if it brings a smile of satisfaction?

What comes first, the evil or the act?

an evil act has two effects- not only does it hurt the other person, but first and most thoroughly, it hurts the person who does it.
