She was the daughter of one of my co-workers. Her and my own daughter, Elicia had a few playdates together...

Let me tell you, you will never be able to gather as much cuteness together as one of those playdates!

I can trust you'll be a good father to her, right? No going insane and causing me to hunt you down, right?

[Erk. He DID go insane during the time skip, and that feeling of guilt swells back up for a moment, but he dispels it quickly. Those days were nothing but lies fabricated by Mayfield.]

No, nothing of the kind. Although, I will admit that I do not have much experience with taking care of small children.

[After all, by age 13 he was already acting as a Death Scythe, dealing almost exclusively with adults from there on out.]

... What was the girl's father like? I was wondering how I could make her feel at home.

He's....he's kind to his family. What's left of it. His wife left them a few years back. He's been living pretty well due to how our job paid, so he was always able to provide for her.

A simple way to get information to the masses. Take everything notable that's happened in the last month and summarize it, so that people don't need to go through their answering machines to be up to date.
