Calgary family negotiates homework ban for their kidsI don't have kids. But most people I work with do have kids. And I'm always amazed at what the parents report their kids are doing for homework. This woman I work with has her son in afterschool classes ti help with his reading because he wasn't doing so well... he's FIVE!!! Seriously, at 5 I'm pretty sure class was mostly drawing, watching people eat paste, and doing crafts with macaroni and glitter. Reading comprehension was NOT a part of Jr Kindergarten curriculum!

Dude, we would so be in the "slow" classes now if we were kids now!

Maybe I should give my niece my twilight books for her b-day, 5th I think. Hell it could be perfect for JK.
