[There is something incredibly unnerving about waking up in a unfamiliar bed. Or it should be, to anyone who had been awake enough to realize that the bed they were in wasn't the bed they went to bed in a few hours before. No, quite evidently for the blond curled comfortably in the sheets there is nothing

No one in their right mind wants to be lost in an unfamiliar place. As true that is, it does not stop Demyx from being reluctant to approach any locals. However the silver lining, he muses, is that at least Chell doesn't look too unapproachable to him. But it's not like he has much of a choice anyways.]
Uh excuse me, miss?
[Demyx has made a bee-line for Chell before he can change his mind. Despite an underlying anxiousness he still manages a friendly looking smile.]
Can you tell me where I am?

When he asks her his question, she looks around, checking to see if GLaDOS is nearby. He doesn't seem like he's working for her, but you never know. After several seconds of silence and thinking, she finally speaks. Her voice is a bit rough, she's only talked to one other person here.]
I'm not entirely sure.
[She's fairly new here herself and only barely knows how to get back to her house right now.]

Were you also, yanno, kidnapped?
[Demyx is speaking in a stage whisper as he leans forward. Ever so occasionally his eyes dart around searching for anything suspicious. What is a guy to do when he wakes up one day in a place he does not recognize? Naturally: BE PARANOID.]

[Must he be so loud. 8||||||]

I find it hard to believe that everyone else's luck is just as bad as mine!
[Demyx has since turned around to face her - his eyes gravitating to the eyebrows instantaneously.]

And what makes you so special, huh?

Dunno. I guess I was always told everyone is special in their own way.
[That totally answers the question right? No wait it doesn't really. It's hard to decide since Demyx is distracted by how-]
-I've never seen eyebrows quite like those.
[Oh wait that was said outloud wasn't it? Whoops.]

But he still stopped when he saw the all two familiar blond shaking on a bench. Looks like someone just found their heart.]
You look like you've seen a ghost.

Axel?
[and then he is jumping up from his bench, hands reaching out to pat Axel's face. Everything feels so surreal right now for Demyx he wants to make sure that he isn't dreaming.
Axel he has so many questions right now. Just give him a few for him to finish gaping like a fish out of water.]
...This is real isn't it?
Reply
Oh it's real. Better get used to it.

...Even if it makes Demyx almost lose his balance and fall over - better watch out for the violently flailing arms as he tries to catch his balance.]
But it's so sudden!
[Demyx has a hand placed over his chest. Almost falling over was enough to make his new heart speed up in panic and even that is a little over whelming for someone who hasn't felt proper emotions for a long time.]

Um... you must be new here, right?

Uhmm, yeah! I guess I'm new. [Something about that is apparently funny, because Demyx chuckles quietly.]
Does this type of thing happen often?
Reply
People waking up here without warning...? Yeah, that's pretty common, unfortunately.

Ay, that does sound unfortunate. But hey! Things will get better, cheer up, my friend.

Nuh uh! Things don't always get better. What makes this different?
[Last time he had tried to be optimistic about something it hadn't exactly worked up well for him.]
