That sure was tricky! I actually had to shut off my music while trying to understand it.

I'm still not sure I really 100% agree/get it... but still... good one.

It makes sense. At first you have a 2 in three chance of picking an empty glass, so by switching you have a 2 in 3 change of getting a diamond.
