I would just like to comment on Carleton University's cleverness. That is very clever to give you a four day weekend, it really makes good use out of Thanksgiving... if that makes sense. I always thought the whole "going home for Thanksgiving" thing was blown out of proportion... as in, it's only ONE extra day, is it really worth it (if you have to fly somewhere).

Anyways, a tip-of-the hat to ole Carleton.

It just makes sense. If your university is going to have one unsolicited day off before Christmas, they might as well make it the friday before Thanksgiving weekend.
