I learned how to do LiveJournal Cuts! This is going to be a long random post.

I went out with Sarah and Abe Tuesday night. They took me to a gay bar in Laguna Beach for Kareoke. The Kareoke was fun, and it was good to hang out with those two, but this old married man kept hitting on me. I let him buy me drinks because if it's free it's in me, and when I bought a round for Abe, Sarah, and myself he gave me a lecture about how I am a princess and I should never pay or order anything for myself when there were so many single men around. I reminded him that it was a gay club and no one there was interested in me, and that it was 2005 and I am totally capable of ordering and paying for myself.

There was an upside to the old married man, he danced with me. Not stupid club bumping and grinding, but real dancing with steps and turns. How come men my age don't dance like that? It is so much more fun! It's awkward to have a conversation with someone when you are rubbing your ass on their crotch, but when you have your hand on their shoulder and they are good enough not to lead you directly into other people you can talk about things! I love it, and I doubt I am alone in my thoughts, right girls?

I spent all day Friday in Hollywood, it was the longest day ever. I had rehearsal at the Hollywood Bowl in the morning and Kathleen, Jeremy, and I decided to stay there for the day instead of driving all the way back to Fullerton, then all the way back to Hollywood that night for the show. Donny and Juan joined us and we went shopping and saw a movie at Hollywood and Highland, then went to dinner at Vert. We had escargot and wine, and I felt like such an adult! I love my friends, they are so cool, even though they made me eat snails.

John Williams is a wonderful composer but has to be the worst conductor ever. I think the problem is that he conducts what he hears in his head, and not what is really going on. The best part was the ritard he decided to add near the end of "Dry Your Tears Africa." We were all going along with it, chorus and orchestra, but then near the last bar of the phrase he just stopped conducting in the middle of a word, in the middle of a phrase. We all (orchestra and choir) were holding the note but he looked at us like "why aren't you still going?" so everyone just tried to guess his tempo until he decided to throw out a downbeat. It was so bad! But I guess he is laughing all the way to the bank.

Let's see... what else. I've been daydreaming a lot lately. It's really getting to be disruptive. Last night at the concert I was thinking about... things ... onstage in the middle of the encores and completely missed one. The girl who sits next to me was asking which my favorite of the 4four were, and I corrected her saying there were three and I was really surprised they didn't do the Star Wars theme. She looked at me confused and told me that was her favorite of the encores. I wonder if it is a sign of some deep psychological issue I'm unaware of. I did dye my hair midnight black again on a whim a few nights ago and I only seem to do that when I am having real issues. Hmm. I think I'm being silly. I just need to focus!

Speaking of focusing.
Harry & Ron
You scored 75% knowledge and 66% obsession! "Now,
if you two don't mind, I'm going to bed, before either of you come up
with another clever idea to get us killed. Or worse, expelled!"

"She needs to sort out her priorities."

You are neither obsessed nor oblivious about the
magical world, but your knowledge is obviously higher than average. You
have a healthy interest in all things Potter, but it's nothing to worry
about. Your keen intellect and natural curiosity make you a force to be
reckoned with. You can't be expected to pay attention in Binns' class every
lesson when you have Quidditch matches and girls on your mind! Just be
forewarned - Hermione won't always be able to finish your essays for
you. She has enough going through that frizzy head of hers!

My test tracked 2 variables How you compared to other people your age and gender:

You scored higher than 69% on knowledge

You scored higher than 76% on obsession
