Yesterday I drove around Lapeer with Zak and George. After looking around at random tings we went to Zak's house and hung out for a while. Party games are sweet. Tonight I might be going to see SBB and THF. I refuse to believe this snow. I reject your reality and substitute my own.

I finished two books today, The Stranger by Albert Camus, and The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath. I found The Bell Jar to be very interesting. I like Sylvia Plath's writing style; it's very fluid and insightful. It seems like there are a lot of similarities between Plath and the protagonist Esther. The show last night was really good. I like the new paint and stage. I really like the new Swellers song. Lingua Franca was good although it was hard to hear the quiet parts in the songs becasue so many kids were being loud. After Lingua Franca but before Oh My God, things got kind of crazy. I feel bad that I missed Ryan's set tonight. I bought his new CD and it's good. Beilby's Ball was really good. Thye played a Slackers cover and Zak missed it. I realize that I was quite angry in my last journal entry. I decided that I will vote yes. I'm going to make a giant photo id in art class.

Today the Lapeer School Board pulled down their trousers and fucked civil liberties in ass. There was an announcement made at the end of school day today that said the bath rooms in the eighth grade wing would now be open during passing time. I went through a long walk in the park yesterday and did a lot of reflecting. I was thinking about the past few years of high school. I thought about the person I used to be and who I am now. I finished my foam face project about five minutes ago. It's really cool/creepy looking. The face is mossy colors and the mouth and eyes are sewn shut. I hot glued the face to a small log and glued this really impressive looking fake moss on it. It's seriously hard to tell the moss is fake. Today was pretty good for the most part. My American Lit Class is taking a field trip to Barnes and Noble to buy any book we want so long as it has won an award. I will be buying one or more books in the Sin City series because they have won multiple Eisner awards. I finally made a foam cast of this plaster face mold I made eons ago.
