Why did I just get a muggle sent letter from a woman in America claiming I'm her Indian Sponsor Child? I'm eighteen! almost nineteen!

A sponsor child? But you have never been poor or in starvation, unless we count refusing to eat that terrible 'food' that You-Know-Who placed in that dreadful room.

She says she hopes her forty dollars a month will get me out of the horrible phone room I've been forced to work in.

Forty dollars? I'm not sure how foreign currency could possibly help with that. You couldn't very well cut an opening out of a wall using a dollar you couldn't receive while trapped in a room.

Apparentlty the money goes to a social worker who then decides through community projects how they can help us.
