I was the same way right before I moved to San Antonio, even though San Antonio isn't THAT far from Angelo. I can completely relate to not wanting to go out and socialize extensively in your last days at home, and I think it's normal. Even though you're going to a different state, I don't think it matters whether you're 100 or 1000 miles away from home. It's still distance. But think of it as a long vacation, and you'll still be able to come home for the holidays (right?) and summer break. Anyway, I commend you on a great college choice and I hope it's a wonderful experience for you.
It was really hard to say goodbye... we all miss you.. and I know that I feel kind of like a jerk for being soo upset that you didnt want to hang out before you left... I don't how to leave... I've never done it... that's why I just got mad... but know that you are loved... and that I really do wish you were here... In my thoughts and prayers... forever.
