So I've got to thinking that it's midterm time and crackdown school time and it's only now that I'm thinking that I feel like I've forgotten how to make friends. And it feels like it's becoming harder and harder to keep in touch with old friends. And I have to start over with all my friends here so no one knows me as well

Don't feel alone in that. It's really hard for all of us to just leave our friends and move across the state or the country to go to school. I feel the exact same way sometimes. No worries, you'll adjust soon.
