Goku likes Ari, Goku thinks Ari's got more potential than he thinks, and wow, sometimes Ari can be so damn frustrating when he's putting himself down. But! He also still feels rather protective of Ari, and now that they no longer have issues over Stan ah ha let's let Goku's secrets stay secrets mmkay? Goku feels a lot more comfortable around him.

... Marlene is another story, because really, she just out-right is in love with Ari but has no idea how to deal with his "o hay not gonna obey your every whim now >_>" attitude and YOU BROKE HER, DAMN IT. But it's a good breakage. Loves on you. ♥

Kabuto's a little weird for Goku, because Goku does genuinely like him. He doesn't really feel close -- in fact, sometimes he thinks there's some detachment there -- but he trusts Kabuto, which is really good enough for him. Although since Kabuto's "YOU WILL SEEK MEDICAL HELP A.S.A.P. FROM NOW ON" scary evil-eye talk, Goku's really fucking a bit more wary of him.

As far as Goku goes:

On Heather, he sees her as a pretty nice, normal girl, maybe like one he'd meet at home only, you know, for once without the angst and drama and sob story and ZOMG powers, and he actually has her to thank for his getting into scribbling drawing again.

On Linda, at first he was pretty distrusting of her because. Well. Stan. And she got in the way. But since he learned to just take her into stride, he rather likes Linda. Even now, he likes her--he meant it when he said she could have Stan, because he's determined to give up on him. So really, she's just a weird but otherwise friendly girl.

How Marlene sees Linda, however, is really mostly like, "She adores that silly shadow, and since she is no longer competition for Ari's love, she is thusly unimportant." And she really just puts more effort into trying to ignore Linda because of the misunderstanding over Ari. ^^; Honestly, she believes Linda ought to have better taste. ♥

Actually, Goku is very, very confused when it comes to Sanzo right now. Which is weird. But he's feeling like Sanzo checks on him too much -- an irrational thought, but hey -- and the random, "So, you're sleeping with Rosalyn?" incident completely freaked him out. Part of him is getting used to not being around Sanzo so much, but another part (especially since his break-up with Stan) is missing the casual comfort of "hey we used to travel together, 'sup" and such. And he does know, somewhere, that Sanzo's just being Sanzo, and that this behavior should pass off as normal. But especially since he's feeling more alienated from Sanzo, Goku has no idea what he's thinking anymore.

... that and Hakkai keeps on insisting he bring Goku to near-epiphanies, which really just confuses him more in the end. Oops?

That whole time zones pwning us thing is a pain in the ass, I swear. We need more breakfast posts or something.

... actually, we really should see if we can't work something like that out, at least once. My opening job is a pain in the ass to work around it, but I usually have two days a week I'm sure I could shift my sleeping schedule to try that sometime.

Marlene's opinion on Rosalyn hasn't changed much; though she does secretly think Rosalyn has been caught in Stan's lustful... lust. Yes.

But Goku's like... he thinks Rosalyn is attractive, which is strange for him, because she looks just like the old Rosalyn--only now she's more affectionate. And at first he was put off by that, but he's grown used to it and, in a way, has started to want it. That's how he developed his, shall we say, crush on her. When she kissed him, however, he liked it but knew he shouldn't have, because he was with Stan. And since talking to Hakkai, he knows he wouldn't consider being with Ros now, if he ever had considered it before, because while he likes her and she is affectionate, she's still not that thing he needs but can't totally place.

Anyway, he's still very fond of her and likes her very much as a friend. He's a little weirded out that she called him her best friend, but with time he'll be okay with it. Goku's going to miss her immensely when they have to go home.
