I find the making of things really soothing. I'm not saying I make things well. I started with a piece of latex 1.75m, and now what's left would make a large handkerchief (shuddering thought, rubber hankies). My house is now strewn with red rubber bow prototypes in search of a function.
Speaking of kimonos, a friend brought me back from Japan a wedding kimono from the 20s. I took possession last night. It's officially love...

think you need to stop thinking for a while and just enjoy the world about you, the universe has bigger issues than yours that should really start worrying if you need to be concerned about something.

Ummm....basically there are two ways of posting a pic. If you have a paid account or a beta account that shows ads, you can put them in your lj scrapbook (this shows up on a tab from the 'home' page.) If, like me, you have a free account, your only option is to post them on an external site like flickr or facebook and embed them in your post.
So that's the first thing that we need to figure out, then we can go from there.
