Weather forecaster on the television last night announced that "the weekend is shaping up to be perfect, with Saturday coming in at 30 degrees". 30 degrees perfect? only other thing you can do is buy some orchid food and water it into the pot twice or three times a year 3 months before flowering just after they have flowered and if you think they need some food to promote growth but wouldn't do it much more than 3 times a year, gad to hear the patients are recovering keep me informed of their progress.

Enjoy trip home l am sure they're lots of things you will want to see again and people to catch up on, March/April 2010 l am off to Japan for 10 days with kitten she is more home sick for Japan than she is about going home to see her family in country NSW.

Maybe one day l will go home to England and see where l was born, South Louth in Lincolnshire

on your advice I desisted from just popping in a squirt of food when I watered them. It goes against the grain though - my motto is "if it's alive, feed it". Still worried about the phallies - one is losing its lower leaves, but at the same time growing a new one and some roots. I've learned a lot more about them than I ever knew before though, so the next thing is to buy one and see if I can keep it alive.

South Louth looks more of a description than a proper name, but I'm sure it's real.
