I know! I wasn't going to, and then I was going to send the guy an email because he says you can donate whatever you want, but then you go to the web page and the only option is 10 euros, but then I thought, oh, what the fuck, it's free for people who can't pony up and 10 euros is no longer $25 Can (but more like $15) so I just did it.

Plus, you can only do 3 backups every six months without it and I just wanted it done.

I use http://www.ljbook.com/ It makes nice PDFs, but you can only do 3 backups in 6 months unless you donate. I was doing it by year, but probably if you combined a couple years in one, you could do your whole LJ in 3 backups. Then once every 2 months is actual fine.

Anyway, it has been swamped ever since the great LJ layoffs, but was quiet as the Western front around noon today.

hey - what a great way to back it up, thx. I just followed your link and FINALLY got mine backed up. All the entries since Jan 15, 2003.
That's how long I've procrastinated backing the damn thing up!
