I always struggle to remember names... and with live journal (and much of the rest of the internet) it's even worse, since user names are usually nothing related to a persons real name. Yep, that's me. I've never been to Arisia. I wasn't really expecting you to add me as a friend, I just figured I should say hi so you know who's reading you.

well, if I don't add you as a friend, you won't be able to read anything except this first post... that's the whole point - I'm switching over to everything being read-only-by-friends - where 'friends' = anyone who posts to this 'who are you?' post and tells me who they are and that they want to read my journal. That way, when you post a reply some day, and I don't remember who dougo is, I can come back to this post from my future self and figure it out. That is the plan, anyway! :)

Hello, I too have a user name that is my real name. We've never met, but I dig some of the Looney Labs products (especially the pyramids) and the friendly attitude of your company.

Hi, my name is Niels Walta and I'm a Rabbit from the Netherlands. It's a total coincidence that my LiveJournal username also has the word "rabbit" in it.
I'm a big fan of Looney Labs and your products and found your journal through andrewlooney. Unfortunately the only icon with a clear picture of me is the one I used in this reply.
And I guess the only way so far my name MIGHT ring a bell is as the Dutch customer who recently got his order bounced back and forth because Alison kept on finding items on my list which weren't available anymore. :) My fault entirely but thanks to all your hard work everything worked out!
