Oh geeze. I just got the text that my JTE sent me last night in preparation for my first day back at the middle school: I'm teaching three classes by myself today because she's in Matsuyama for business. One of the classes is with the sped kid, who I've never taught one-on-one before. Welcome back to Japan, Allee!

SpEd kids are an extra challenge, but very, very fun! I'm sure you did great! If you continue to teac this student, find out what's in their file (if the Japanese keep files on SpEd students) and familiarize yourself. It'll help, I promise.
