[There's a space of a breath before Campbell starts speaking.]

Campbell: Hello, Ladies and Gentlemen a' the City and welcome to a very special edition of Campbell Bain's Headspace. Cos apparently I'm no leavin' this studio. This is it. These are the last moments I have wi' you and I'm gonna play us out. No requests this time, I'm afraid, but I willnae leave wi'out openin' up the lines for you t' call in. I'm no goin' a' my own accord, I can tell y' that. There's naething I don't like about this place.

That's enough talking, though. I've got loads t' get through and I'm no sure if I'll get t' the end of it. City, I've never wanted anythin' but you. So what d'ya say? C'mon, hen, let's stay together.

Campbell: Aye, well, I didnae think that'd work. T'was worth a try, at least. Alright, then, seein' as it's startin' t' get bloody cold here, let's heat things up wi' some Hot Chocolate.

Campbell: It's no as if I'll be leavin' forever, I figure. Loads a' people end up comin' back, if no for good, then at least for one a' the days wi' visitors. So there's always that. Everyone'll be there then, and I willnae end up playin' songs for people who're no even here any more.

Campbell: I'll be opening up those lines now, if you're eager t' get t' them.

[Lines Open]

Campbell: I'll have my device on in the meantime, during the music if I didnae get a chance t' speak t' you or if, uh. If you didnae want to on air.

Campbell: This goes outside of the norm for things I play on this station, but I think if any time's a time t' break tradition, it's on the last show I'll be playin' for a while. I'm no saying ever. Anyway, this's a song I picked up off a visitor the last busy day the City had. It's called Threshold, and it's by Time Bomb's very own Stephen Stills wi' his band Sex Bob-omb. Christ, Stephen, do you only join bands wi' bomb in the name?

Campbell: A while back, my good friend Nathan sent me a playlist. Which I never played. He did ask me to play a song for the head of the police called "Don't Call Me Baby Anymore" which isnae only just fae after my time, it's also complete shit. So I chose a different one instead. Here y' go, Cameron.

Campbell: I've been playin' a song for every one of you, but I'll be a wee bit more specific for this, no that I really need to be. You'd guess, I think but, Dulcie? This one's for you.

Campbell: A' course, you shouldnae worry, Nathan. I picked out a song for you too. I didnae forget you, out of anybody.

Campbell: [he's giggling a bit at the start, but he pulls himself together to speak] Alright, that wasnae really the song I chose for you. Weeeell, it was, but it wasnae. Here's the other one.

Campbell: I've received a couple a' requests for Amy from Mr. Rory Williams in the time I've been running this show, and I havenae really felt like playing them before, but it doesnae mean I willnae play a song for Amy. I just willnae play your song, Rory. Sorry, them's the breaks. But you could almost say this song's for the both a' you.

Campbell: On my first day into the City, I was about t' play this on my station at home, the Gold Show, and I didnae get to. So I may as well play it now for all of you before I play it for Glasgow. And as a sort of plea. Bring me back, City, come on, my man, don't let me down.

Campbell: Soooo that's it for me, folks. I'd miss alla you if I was gonna remember you, but as I willnae... Well, I'd miss you if I could. Try not to get too upset, alright? I've got Lithium left over in my room if y' get that depressed, my loonies. So long, goodbye, looks like I'm gonna have to go now.
