Was following behind another car and spotted up ahead a cat dashing across the road and got to watch said car fail to make any attempt to avoid said car and said car get run over

at least you were there to give the 'poor wee thing' some comfort. Although its sad it died it may be for the best, many cats that get run over get a punctured lung and it can be a slow death as they run out of oxygen. it happened to my cat Gremlin :(

Despite having been around many people while they died... sitting with that cat was a terribly long 5 minutes... i suspect because it was obviously in pain and I couldnt give it anything (with id had some morphine for the wee thing)
