I am somehow cursed to always visit London during the school holidays. However, my brokeness does occasionally have a use as I got to skip the 5-6 hour long cues to the Pokecentre today. Which is good because it wasn't worth that long a wait. It was really good to spend time with people though. Now on the train back and gah I ache.

Oh hey there! LJ has decided you're important enough to send me an email letting me know you've posted, though it's been probably close to a decade and a half since we had any contact. But who am I to argue with the algorithm...?

So what was the Pokecentre? Google makes it sound like... basically a shop, but is it more than that?

No, google had it right. It was basically a shop but with a chance to test out the new pokemon games prior to their launch. It was a novelty but not one worth waiting 5+ hours for when most of the stuff there could be bought from the online shop.

(a decade and a half sounds about right but is also a slightly depressing thought)
