Last time, we got into heavy details about what Sokka's team would look like. I still had one slot to fill with a couple more that weren't yet completely certain, and people gave me some great suggestions to work with. However, I'd like to step away from that now without finalizing the team. I do have an idea of what I think the final team will

Fair point. I was thinking that it was an abandoned island that didn't even appear on most maps, and so an easy thing to give away, but the lease makes more sense. And making it the Zhao ancestral lands would allow for the remnants of a previous settlement, which I could either say were partially converted into The Vault or else become fodder for Sokka's The Plan.

I'm not sure about cutting the Fire Nation in on the profits, though. Part of what I want inherent in the deal is that no one had any idea just how far the Northern Water Tribe was going to take the whole scheme, thinking that they were just going to do something like Ember Island but for foreigners. That the island comes to eclipse Ember Island both abroad and in the Fire Nation itself hurts, and adding to that the idea that the Tribe are paying a flat lease fee that barely even touches their profits is extra sting.

And on that note, it becomes less about Sokka's plan hurting Zuko by stealing taxes, and more like, "If you want to do something about it, why not actually
