Woo-hoo, how banging awesome is that! :D You should be proud. Artwork on the characters, especially Suki and her facial expressions, is fantastic, even if backgrounds are basically nil. Very nice!

Having seen a growing trend in both manga and American comics to eschew backgrounds completely, I was pleased to see at least a few light lines as a nod to the presence of a background. If the art were more "finished," I might be more critical of that aspect, but... eh, I'm not inclined to be too hard on this kind of effort.
