December is Here!
evil_firmware is very pleased at the snow up on the Zugspitze, and tells me the snowboarding is fantastic. Since he bought a new board, i get his old one. My friend Wendy will give me her boots, too, so all I need now is a nice pillow to secure to my rear end and off I go!
Does 30 years' experience skiing count for anything? No? Maybe? Guess we'll see.

I was standing in the bathroom looking at my daughter's toothbrush (after noticing the toothpaste spit in the sink ... we're still working on washing it down; I'm just happy she's learned to spit it out!) ... and thinking, isn't it great that our kids love to brush their teeth? Woman'sAnswer: One! ONLY ONE!!!! And do you know WHY? Because no one else in this house knows HOW to change a light bulb! They don't even know that the bulb is BURNED OUT!! They would sit in the dark for THREE DAYS before they figured it out.

I'm excited to say that I"m in New Jersey for graduation from my Master's Program! We arrived Thursday evening and ran about changing clothes and finding our way into NYC to go see the Lion King on Broadway. Fantastic show. AbFab. Won't forget it for a while. Ok, so we're on the third floor, the penthouse (one of four), beautiful 2100 square foot apt with two lovely balconies, both with views. One side has skylights which are fantastic - let in a nice breeze, let us see the neato snow, hear the tat tat tat tat rain. Lovely.

My $15 cantaloupes ... update! 5 lovely plants with long streamy vines with cute yellow flowers and at least 15 little cantaloupeys. If you are the praying sort, pray I have growing season left.

Had a great birthday party for the Jazzmatazz Saturday at Freitzeitpark Loisachbad. Great park with lots of stuff to climb, boing, spin, slide and zip on, and we had about 11 kids (both German and American) there to run about and eat cake pizza chips and ice cream ( Read more... )
