He is making pureblood wizards into squibs? I knew it could be done. I should have persevered with my studies for Alessandra. It does not make sense. This is a punishment?
Also, last time I return to Britain, there were many inferi in the sea. It is possible this is connected?

He seems to be. I haven't the opportunity to talk to the prisoners or their guards to find out exactly what is going on, but the rumours are... Rather more than punishment, though his loyal deatheaters are living in terror that they should be selected for this experiment; there is more to it than that, some darker purpose.
