I schlepped my ass all the way from Riverside to UNF for a 9am class only to find out that it's been cancelled. My next class is at noon. Since I get here early on Fridays, I get a decent parking space. If I leave, I will not find good parking later. Aargh! I cannot believe that this is keeping me here.

I'm now attending UNF. Some call it "you never finish," I prefer to call it "unf." Initially, I was not too happy about coming here because I felt like I was going to a sub-standard school. Perhaps I am. However, there's this guy in my Children's Lit class and he is wicked smart, so I don't feel so bad.

Why am I surrounded by idiots?! This is supposed to be a place of higher learning. Ha! Fat fucking chance. While I am no genius like Johann Wolfgang von Goethe (from what I can find, it is considered to be somewhere around 210 - mine is merely above average), these people are making me look like it ( Read more... )

It is finally getting cold. I am not sure how I feel about it. Cold weather is a multi-faceted issue for me. One aspect leaves me thankful that the oppressive, make-your-butt-crack-sweat heat and humidity are gone. I read in the news last week that Mother Teresa often felt abandonded by God. Her level of faith astounds me! And it's not just her level of faith, but faith in general. I wonder how my odd quirks will effect Grace when she gets older. For example, we're at my mom and dad's and Grace announces that she has to poop and would like me to come with her.
