Oh my gosh this was so heart-warming and I love it! Lyme getting a happy ending with all her kids was really what I needed to read today. Also, I love how the older victors are just going with the flow. Oh, this random kid says she's from the future? Sure, let's go kill the president. Why not

I already flailed at you so I won't do it too bad here as well but

I love the happy ending for so many of these characters, even Sloane got to be happy! I love Claudius and Sloane's sibling dynamic! Also lol of course Nero's response to a random preteen showing up on his doorstep claiming to be a 35 year old from the future would be "okay"

But really IMAGINE the village group chat after this one, with all the Twos not in the loop. The chaos. "Sorry we're doing What now??" Poor things tuned on their TV or checked they texts when they woke up and surprise! Ronan, Nero, and Adessa assasinated the president and took control of the country while you were asleep?? I like to imagine one of them sent a quick "brb off to commit tyranicide ttyl" to the group chat.

The other district victors would also be very funny for the most part, just "THEY CAN DO THAT???" Mags and Lumina would be very proud. I guess there would be some worry about what the Twos will do next seeing as they are NOT the most trusted district, but I will choose to set that

I love happy endings! I was a bit surprised it was Ronan who just suddenly did the assassination, but it makes sense. Ronan is sick of having to work with someone he deeply dislikes and distrusts, playing along for decades because it is for the better of District 2. He has a reason to believe it may not be as helpful as he thought it was.

What a surprise it must have been that he has to make a quick decision, assassinate President Snow, and then get to be President Ronan! It is good that he is 25 years younger, because he seemed like he was much too tired to consider this during the rebellion.

For quick thoughts, though they may not be completely faithful to your renderings of the characters, and I apologize for that:

To the surprise of very few, the clearly very athletic (Didn't they have Athletic Clubs and Centers all over?) District Two competitors won the most medals in new Panem Games. It took the edge off that there would be a national celebration and special food boxes for all the districts (and the capitol, though they hardly needed it!) to celebrate the competitive event of coming together.

A side news release noting that the minister of economy would be optimizing supply chains to ensure a greater quantity of food reached every district brought almost as much joy.
